I have completed my genre conventions in this manner because it helped me to visualise the significant factors included in these genres and therefore allow me to examine whether they would be relevant to chose for my film production. This will impact my final production as using a pros and cons list really helps to identify the main factors of a specific genre and therefore develop some of the knowledge I have on genre conventions. Compared to many industry standard documentations on genre conventions, I feel that mine may be a little simple due to the lack of explanation in my practice. However, the simplicity with the pros and cons list is immensely helpful as I can do further research after identifying the significant factors initially.
