Pre-Production Plan 1

This is my first pre-production brain storm of all the potential factors I needed to consider. This way, I could discount ideas and add some without a specific order. This was an effective way to start  my pre-production work as the initial significance is what is needed in pre-production and therefore, will allow me to go on and organise these factors into pre-production categories and later, some sort of time schedule. This will impact my final production as, this task helped me to narrow down what is really significant in pre-production. Compared to industry standard plans, I would say that this plan is a lot more simple as it is just a rough document of the significant factors of pre-production and is mainly just for me to visualise what is and isn't needed, by crossing things out and using different colours.

One Mile Away

As part of my first task in Pre-Production, my final piece of research was the 'One Mile Away' documentary which was very interesting in the way that this particular director went through the Pre-Production process. This is evidence of film production research, as I have developed my knowledge of the pre-production elements that need to be considered.

Monsters

As part of my first task in Pre-Production, I researched a second film to identify any possible similarities and differences there may be in the way directors go through the Pre-Production process of film production. I've noticed especially that there were differences in the budgets that these directors began with. Because of this, many risks of losing their money were very likely as the film could not generate good profit. I have completed these power points in this manner as it portrays a visual representation of the pre-production tasks and shows lots of information about them. This will impact my final production as I have built the knowledge of overall pre-production and therefore, develop my understanding.

World War Z

For my first Pre-Production task of Unit 4, I completed research task on the Pre-Production aspects in 'World War Z' to identify the ways in which directors go through the Pre-Production process in film production. Similarly to the other two power points I created about general pre-production, I researched this film to broaden my knowledge of the pre-production elements considered in film production and as a result of this, impact my final production.
